Irene Hau

Irene the research technician in the Reese Lab. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and hopes to eventually pursue a PhD. She is interested in host pathogen interactions and is gaining experience in microbiology and immunology through studying host immune response to viral and parasitic infections. Her project involves investigating mutations within Norovirus NS3 in regards to viral egress. When not in the lab, she enjoys painting, sleeping, and drinking copious amounts of coffee, but not all at once though.
