Shajedul started his postdoc in the Reese lab in September 2022. He received his Ph.D. from the graduate school of life sciences at the University of Hyogo, Japan, where he researched the ATP-binding cassette transporter C subfamily isoforms (ABCC7) sorting signal in polarized epithelial cells. In the Reese lab, he examines the validation of Beclin 1-mediated autophagy in different cell lines. Shajedul grew up in the southern part of Bangladesh and loves to explore diverse cultures and places around the world. In his spare time, he likes to roam the Dallas area, play soccer, go to the gym, and run on the trails.
